The sky lanterns are made of rice paper with a candle at the bottom that heats the air inside lowering its density and causing the lantern to rise into the air.

How to make a Writing Tip

How to make a writing tip for interchangeable tip pens.

I used 4 cm (1,5 inch), 25 gauge (0,455 mm) Nichrome wire.

Pyrography – How to make a leather strop to clean tips

If you happen to have these things at home you can make your own leather strop to clean your tips. I use this along with some aluminium oxide to clean my tips.
