Pyrography – How to make a leather strop to clean tips

If you happen to have these things at home you can make your own leather strop to clean your tips. I use this along with some aluminium oxide to clean my tips.

This project took me 11 hours to make. Mostly made with a spoon shader. The original photograph was taken for Harper’s Bazaar – US magazine.
